Hello! My name is Gunnar Velten and thanks for visiting.

 

I always had a passion for documenting moments in time. It all started in middle school, when I began shooting for the schools Yearbook. From my roots in music, I became fascinated with music photography and how a picture can be seen and interpreted in different ways to anyone who saw it. 

 

Fast-forward a few years later, I have become known for my unique approach in capturing a moment, vibe, and feeling, and from it, creating a visual image. I thrive on being in rhythm with the subject I am capturing, whether its Mother Nature or a musician performing in front of me.

 

My start as a professional photographer started in the Concert realm. I started Shooting any and all local shows April 18th 2018 and started building my business around that. To this date, I have worked with hundreds of amazing bands, artists and venues.

 

Music has always had a significant impact on my life in one way or another. I have had uncles who were in bands growing up which really inspired me, and now enjoy the role of capturing images of the magic unfolding before me.

 

I am a native Californian, who was born in Saint Louis Missouri.
